Nina Izycka

Illustrator Nina Izycka creates soft, inky images inspired by nature to awaken sensitivity and empathy. Her work, often featuring plants, animals, and diverse characters, reflects ideals of respect between people, animals, and nature. She draws influence from folk art, art brut, handicrafts, and Soviet/Polish-Socialist poster and book illustrations. Nina’s pieces are crafted with gouache, watercolour, and colored pencils, blending traditional and digital techniques, including Risograph and screen printing for her self-published books and zines.
