Aurumek (Simon Hintermann) is an artist from Switzerland who draws the world he's homesick for that never existed. Growing up reading comic-books of Asterix, Tintin and Lucky Luke and watching Ghibli movies over and over again, he draws landscapes and scenes of mostly whimsical nature in a comic art style. His biggest inspirations today are Jean Giraud ""Moebius"", Ghibli and Larry Macdougall. The world he mostly visits with his drawings is an island world called ""Argenta"", a ghibliesque land full of magic and people of all trades.
